Peppemint Hand Sanitizer

Peppermint Hand Sanitizer is not only effective in killing germs on hands, but also is natural and safe for children. This also makes a lovely gift. You may add different essential oils to your liking, but as far as sanitizers go, I love the smell and refreshing feel of peppermint.

2/3 cup rubbing alcohol (99%)
1/3 cup aloe vera gel
8 drops peppermint essential oil

1. In a small bowl, combine alcohol, aloe vera, and essential oil.
2. Using a funnel, pour sanitizer into a small spray bottle.

Homemade Hair Mousse

Many hair mousse products on the market today are drying and the better ones are expensive. Here is a natural, complete protein, strengthening hair mousse that costs just pennies and seconds to make. It's genius! If you are worried about an egg order, no worries, there is none.

2 egg whites

1. In a small bowl, beat egg white into stiff peaks.
2. Apply 1 to 2 tablespoons to damp hair at roots and style as usual.
3. Cover and store in refrigerator for future use.
