This salad
is a little bit sweet and savory. It is quick, nutritious, and
delicious. It is a new and tasty twist on the traditional taco salad.
My
mom used to make this salad for her Ladybug club. Now I make it for my
book club. It has become a classic luncheon dish in our family.
For camping or picnicking, buy individual size Dorito Bags and fill them with the salad and dressing. Use disposable forks and napkins and the clean-up will be a snap.
This is also a great idea for families on the go. Mom can send homemade dinner with kids that are rushing off to ball games and other activities.
