I first savored this fun little dessert at a church
bazaar as a little girl living in Rexburg, Idaho. I fell instantly in
love with it! This popcorn has eye catching color, but its glory lies in
the fusion of fruity and buttery flavors. This popcorn lasted like two seconds on our Family Movie Night.
10 cups popcorn, popped
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup light corn syrup
1 (3oz.) package fruit flavored Jell-O gelatin
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
Melt butter in medium saucepan. Add sugar, corn syrup, and gelatin. Cook until mixture comes to a full boil. Stir in baking soda. Immediately pour gelatin mixture over popped corn in large bowl. Stir until popcorn is coated.
