4 slices day old raisin, cinnamon bread
2 eggs
1/2 cup half and half
butter for cooking
Beat eggs and half and half in small, shallow bowl. Dip each piece of cinnamon bread in batter then cook in melted butter on medium heat, turning once until both sides are golden brown--about 6 minutes.
Syrup:
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup butter
1 tablespoon light corn syrup
1/2 tablespoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
1. In saucepan, bring sugar, buttermilk, butter, and corn syrup to a boil. Then add baking soda and vanilla. Stir to combine.
